Spring Fever

It's sad really. Spring fever is making an appearance far too soon. I changed my blog template to represent one of my favorite things about spring--baby animals, specifically the baby horses we get each spring. We are currently the owners of about 15 horses, many of which we will be selling this spring. Anyone interested? Kidding. I like all of our horses, but there comes a time when enough is enough, besides how expensive it is to feed them! These photos are of babies (foals) from last year. P.S. The template was supposed to show more of the horses, but when I downloaded it they were half covered up. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Cute, Cute, Cousins!

Cute, Cute, Kids! Okay, so I'm a little biased. I know it's been forever since I last posted, and it's mostly because there hasn't been much to post about. Cameron seems to never fully recover from a cold before the next one comes along so I haven't taken any new pictures. Here are a few from Christmas time though. They're not the best pictures because I quickly snapped them as someone else was trying to get real pictures.

Cameron loves all of his cousins and plays quite well with them. This is Logan and Baylee. As you can see, he doesn't look much like his Rydalch cousins. Not sure what Baylee is doing, but didn't have a better picture.
Here are a couple pictures of the Harris cousins, plus there's one on the way (Not me! Ben & Lara will have a little boy in March). This is Will, Emma, Isabelle, Cameron, and Madisyn.
It's amazing how fast the kiddos grow-up! I'll have to video Cameron saying all of their names (he's sleeping right now) it's really cute. It's usually hit and miss whether he'll cooperate at any given moment in the speaking department, but if we're talking about cousins--he's always excited!

WHAT!?! Church is cancelled?

As many of you already know, church was cancelled yesterday due to the bad weather, and on Super Bowl Sunday! This is the first time in my life this has ever happened. We were quite surprised to get a phone call informing us, we actually thought it was a joke at first, then did our part calling others. For you out-of-staters that haven't seen how much snow we have recently received, here are a few photos I quickly took on Saturday.
I was so proud of my little walk-way. It doesn't look like much, but this snow is HEAVY. After doing this, I decided it would be Wes' job to shovel the front walk.
The big mound of snow next to our Subaru is our white car. It had a little trouble earlier this winter and we were debating whether it was worth fixing or not. I guess it's hibernating for now!
This picture doesn't do justice to the depth of the snow, but it's almost covering the fence!
It's already started to fill in, but I wanted to show how Wes took care of the front walk. Using the tractor seems like cheating to me, but whatever works.
I couldn't get the actual top and bottom of the icicle, but it is enormous and really touches the ground. We should probably break it off I suppose, but I'm afraid it will rip the rain gutter, or perhaps even the roof off.

I don't like being cold, but it is really pretty when we get fresh sparkling white snow. It's also a blessing to get this much moisture considering we live in a desert. So I guess I'll forget about my freezing feet, and put my smiley face on until warmer days ahead.
